Thread: TPS on a '93 Regal

When idling, my '93 Regal's RMPs will rise and fall intermitently. After using a GM code reader, I got the code for throttle position sensor. Where is the TPS located and how can it be adjusted?

your TPS is located either on the top throttle body or on the opposite side of the throttle body that your throttle linkage is on.
To my knowledge the TPS is a sealed unit and therefore cannot be adjusted. You'll have to replace the sensor to fix the problem, if thats the only problem that is.
Once you get the new part, you'll be able to recognize where it goes almost immediatly.

    Good luck
