I have heard recently that this clunk when turning left could be a caliper bearing or caliper bushing - is this correct? No prob with wheel bearings, tie rods, and all that. I appreciate your insight! This has been a 5 month investigation and I want to keep my pristine '92 - the "American Jaguar". thanks!

have you checked your struts and strut bushings/mount?
    or your sway bar?

I've been here for a while, but couldn't find anything to reply to, but here goes.

My whole family owns Buicks, I've a 94 park ave, mom has a 99 park ave, my grandma a 91 park avenue, and my cousin a 98 regal. The 91 had a clunk when turning sometimes, and it was caused by an improperly reassembled rear brake drum. If you had your brakes serviced, give that a look at.
