I have a '90 Lesabre that has started some of the time emitting a groan when I make a right turn. It's not the typical constant velocity joint click, but a groan or vibration. Maybe something with the rack and pinion assembly? Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks, Fomzy

is it only a groan? or does the steering get stiff also, like the powersteering cuts off?

I've got a 97 Lesabre that groans too. I haven't checked yet, but I suppose it is probably low on power steering fluid. Either that or the pump is going out.
