On a '71 riv, does anyone know how to remove the power steering pump pulley? The tools at my local auto stores are for shafts with a groove. Mine has no groove, just a nut at the end which I removed. It looks like there is a washer inside the shaft. Does this require a key of some type? If so, where do I get one?

    Lou,
You should be able to remove the pulley by alternating pulling forces with two big screwdrivers at the 9 and 3 o'clock positions. You have to use very even pulling motions and a few spots of lubricant. There is a key that you will spot once you remove the pulley. That key will only come out once the pulley is removed.
