  1. #1

    Post

    Hi,

I've got everything from Kanters, Cars Inc required to rebuild front end on my 1962 Buick Skylark except of 'center link" does anybody know
where I can find a rebuild kit or have any recommendations?

    Thanks,

    Ray

    Hey Ray,

Try Buick World 360-825-3787 or Bob's Automobilia.

I have good experiences with both of these Vendors/Suppliers.

I can't say enough good things to say about their sevice and the quality of their merchandise.

I have heard Good and Bad things about Cars Inc.
Some Buick owners were getting used parts that were advertised as NOS. I think that their pricing is on the High End.

Hope that You have some Luck finding what You need.

    Tom,

Your right about Buick World, Gib is real helpful, unfortunately they don't have what I need, but I'd recommend them based upon my telephone experience with them.

    Thanks,

    Hey Ray,

Buick world is Good People. I'm surprised that they didn't have the part. Usually they will direct you to someone who does.

When You are referring to the center link. Is that the Pitman Arm or the Part the Pitman arm attaches to?

    You could try:

    **Raine Automotove Springs Warehouse
    800-290-0655
    www.autospringwarehouse.com

This place in New Jersey I know has all sorts of suspension components and Center Links.

I was hoping to find a place a little closer to YOU. What's a couple thousand miles when You are in dyer need of a component? Your just glad to be able to get the part. Hopefully it will be reasonable.

Let me Know how You Make-out.

I may have to do some other research and go into the archives.

I called another number and I got a recording.

Apparently they are out of business like You said!

That's one to cross off the list. You could try:

I haven't done business with any of these vendors.

I looked them up in a reference book.

The Book lists some more, but I figured these are enough for now.
