Thread: 69 Skylark A/C vacuum hose routing

Greetings! I'm working on a 69 Skylark I recently picked up that is equipped with air conditioning. I have reinstalled all the parts, and replaced the fan blower speed switch, but the vacuum hoses are rotted or missing. Does anyone have a diagram that shows correct vacuum hose routing between the diaphrams, the fan switch, and the selector switch? Thanks!

Jim, the information is in the 69 Buick shop manual, though it is in several different chapters for the a/c, cruise control, and engine combustion control diagrams. Sounds like you only need the a/c section. I can send you a copy of whatever is needed.

A real Buick shop manual will be used many times over if you plan on keeping the car and working on it yourself. They are available used from ebay and other sources that deal in auto-related literature. The 69 is plentiful, though the price is higher than many other years due to increased demand.
