    Question

I own a 1966 electra 225, it has a very bad miss. i am going to change the cap, rotor, plugs and carb base gasket as it seems that is leaking. if this does not cure it what else should i try? also, I put a new alternator and battery in it and if i hace the battery fully charged the car will start and drive but the next morning, the battery is close to dead. Could this be the voltage regulator? thanx in advance for help!

Those sound like the first things I'd check, so I think you're on the right track.

Before you replace the battery, be sure it's not the alternator or something else- many places offer a free or discounted electrical systems check with the purchase of a battery.
