    Hi there all of you!
I´m just about to get my newly bought Buick registrated in the lovely country of Sweden. There´s only one litte problem, no one seems to know how big the fuel tank is. I need some kind of paper that proves the volume of it.
If anyone have an idea of how to get my hands on that I´d be more than happy.
    See ya all!

If you have the owners manual look under the capacities and specifications part of the book.

Sorry I didn't notice the years you were in. What year and model is the car? Maybe someone would know off hand.

Hi Jake! Unfortunately I don´t have a manual yet, but I´m sure I will have to get me one sooner or later.
About the car, it´s a 1950 Super Eight Model 51. I just realised I forgot to mention that in my first message.

    Johnni,
I have an old "Motors" manual from those years. It shows the fuel tank capacity of all the 1950 models as 19 gallons. I also have a 1949 Buick Dealer Brochure that shows the capacity as 19 gallons.
    Hope this helps,

    Johnni,
    I found this on E-bay:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...&category=6761

You might want to e-mail the seller and see if he will copy it for you before he sends it to the buyer ... or you might want to bid on it yourself, it would be nice to have with the car !
