Hi everybody,

I purchased a used torque converter for my 1956 Special as the old one was heavily leaking through the rivets.

As long as I have the new one sitting on the bench, I wanted to replace the O-ring before installation. Is there anything to pay special attention to ?

(I guessed that it would be just opening the converter, replacing the ring and bolting everything together again in the order indicated in the shop manual. But in the assembly section of the manual this procedure sounds rather complicated...?)
