    Hello everyone,
    please tell me what type (if any)sealant I should use on my intake and exhaust manifolds.There were no instuctions with the gasket set.Also,what is used to seal the valley cover ?As always,I thank you all in advance.

    Should be a gasket for the valley pan. I didn't use sealers on my intake and exhaust gaskets and havent had any problems ( about 6,000 miles) . I'm leery of sealants on gaskets from my small block ferd days.

    Judd,
    Thanks for responding.There was no gasket for the valley in the kit.I'll phone the machine shop I purchased from.
    I'm afraid of developing a vacuum leak if I don't use some kind of sealant on the manifolds.I guess I'll make up my mind tomorrow.Thanks again.
