Thread: Automatic isolation(neutral start) switch for 1956 with T400

    Question

    I have fitted a 455/T400 to the 1956 Buick,
I have modified the existing neutral start switch so it only works when in "P", but of course,
this means no start in "N" and the reverse lamps are no longer working.
    Has anyone overcome this?

    Cheers,

Have you considered fitting in a new tilt wheel column.

    Hello Shoprat,

no, no late model stuff where it can been seen.
I have fitted collapsable steering maintianing the orginal upper shaft and wheel.
The steering wheel along with all the other artwork must remain

    thanks
