I would like to convert my powertop to the manual set-up. Are the power cylinder and manual spring unit attachment points the same inside the car or do they require modification?

Additionally, if I can do this, any ideas were to find some manual spring units?

I believe that the section of the top frame where the hydraulic cylinder attaches is different from the section where the manual top spring attaches, but since all the spring does is help raise the top, I think that you may be able to put a bolt through the socket and hook the spring to that. There may be a difference in length, but you can make that up at the lower end of the spring.
    Best Regards,

Ron, thanks for the info. I just got my 62 a few weeks back and your help is appreciated.
