Paint code

I have an white '83 Riviera. Does anybody know the paint code or how I can find it? My local Buick dealer said it's in the glove box, but it's not.

Search for your application at www.autocolorlibrary.com, that should help. Also, what the dealer means by glove box might even mean behind it as well. Paint code locations are different for many models and the glove box is a common place. Other areas may include the firewall or anywhere else under the hood or even in the door jambs. It is also usually accompanied by all the other identification codes.

Dave, I got a few years of Auto Body under my belt. The paint code will be at the bottom of the tag and will start with a "wa". Try looking in the trunk on the back side of the spare tire cover,if its not in the glove box or drivers door jamb.
