    could someone help a new owner of 72 gs stage 1 with decoding please,vin # is 4g37v2h158505 or 4g37v2hi58505,any help really want to know if its a true gs stage1 or not ,before i put alot into it,thanks interceptor429 keith

    The "V" in the fifth place of the VIN denotes that it is a true 1972 Stage 1.
    So, is it a 4 speed or automatic?
