i can not find the id plate for the cowl tags and trim codes dekoding for may Buick Electra 225 flattop 1959.
i wonder where it is on the car.i hop you can understand my bad english.

Lars, the plate should be located under the hood, high on the left side of the cowl. Pictures in the body manual show it aligned approximately with the driveshaft of the left windshield wiper. It is attached by two rivets.

This plate may have been removed or destroyed in earlier body work. There is no other similar plate on the car.

There were only 5 interior choices for this model. Buyers could select from 4 colors of nylon upholstery or one of broadcloth. If any of the original seat or interior trim material remains, you can determine the trim number.

There were 13 colors of paint available. Again, if you can find any spots of the original paint color left, you can identify the paint code from color charts.
