    Question

    I have obtained a 364 v8 with 4 bbl carb, engine number shows as B9194102 can anyone provide any info on this engine? Also what can you tell me about vin number 74637809504?

    Bob, both these numbers indicate the car was built in Canada. On the engine number, the first 9 indicates the car was built with an automatic transmission. 194102 is the serial number of the engine.

    On the VIN, it decodes as follows:
    7= 1957 model
    46= Buick Century series
    37= 2 door hardtop body
    809504= car serial number
