Hi all,
Does anybody knows a place where I can purchase a NOS gear set for my 1951 Super?
I would like to replace the pinion and the ring of my rear end that is very noisy.
As i'm about to make it rehauled completely, I will change the gear set to a (NOS) new one.
Thanks for your time and infos.

Have you looked here? http://www.buickbombsight.com/
I also heard of a place in Texas called Terrill Machine Shop. I think that is correct.

A good used set should be more than satisfactory. Most classic cars do not get hundreds for thousands of miles on them and if you can find one that has had the occasional oil change, it should be in good condition.
This could be a good time to consider a gear change. I think your car may have 4:11s. You might want to change up to make the car a little nicer on the highway.
Hi,
Thanks all for your answers.
I'll try these addresses (despite the fact that I tried these before. They may have a part available in the meantime).
My car has a Dynaflow trans, so the ratio is 3.9 to 1 (43-11).
Shoprat, you're right, 4.1 was effectively available for the Synchromesh series.
For the DynaF, 3.6 was possible with a couple 47-13.
