    Question

Whats the difference between the 700R and the 200R transmissions? And which one is the better of the two?

The 700 has mostly the Chev bell housing pattern, and the 200R-4 has a universal or a BOP pattern. The 700 has a 3.05( or thereabout) first gear, and a .75 overdrive. The 200 has a 2.76 first and a .68 overdrive. They can both be built with after-market parts to hold fairly large HP (450-500) I have a 200-$r in my GS and think it is one of the best things I have done.
