    Question

This is the wifes car and in the last three weeks has had - NEW TIMING CHAIN, NEW MANIFOLD, NEW AIR FILTER, CLEANED OUT CATALYTIC CONVERTER, EXHAUST PIPES CLEANED, CHECKED EVERY PLUG, WIRE, CONNECTION, BATTERY, FLUIDS - the car still stops - it idles roughly when in neutral, after starting drives fine, when slowing down to stop, it starts to die, given gas will stay running but not always. Help please, the mech said the computer-chip was okay (should be only had that done 18months ago) and that he couldn't find any reason for the problem. What's wrong with this car? Suggestions from a friend where - Torgue Converter Clutch and/or Throttle Position Sensor. !!!!!
I would also ask if anyone has a detailed drawing or instruction page showing the transmissions location and that of the above mentioned items. Thanks Charlie and Nin (wife). Thanks

</font>[/QUOTE]At this date it may be a little late for Charlie and Nin, but if anyone is currently looking. The TPS is mounted to the side of the throttle body directly opposite the throttle lever. If pictures are neede I can provide, but I would be more inclined to test the crankshaft position sensor.
