There are adapters for transmissions, but the real problem is the Torque Tube, unless you put in a dynaflow, you will have to change the entire drivetrain.

OK..........what newer automatic transmission will match up with the 1955 Buick Special with the V8 Nailhead?
The car right now has a three speed on the column standard commission and due to the age and the area that the car will be used in I want to convert it to an automatic tranmission. Also wondering the best place to get either a NOS radiator or just a tranmission cooler.
