264 heads and 322 intake

Help!! I own a 55 special 46r. My block #'s are not listed on this site. My numbers on the block are,Rear-1165752,side-1199703-4? My intake # is shown on this site as a 322. The intake # is 1165308. The #'s on my heads are shown on this site as 264/322 heads. How do I tell which engine I have? 264 or 322?

If you go to the "shop" and look at identify your Buick engine, the 40 series had the 264.

You are looking at the casting numbers. You need to get the stamped number on the deck of the block opposite the oil dip stick. It should be something like 1360024 or 112246-4 the 4 at the end is for Special
