I am the new owner of an all original and very well preserved 1963 Riv. I want to add seat belts to the back so my kids can go for a ride.

I want to know 2 things; will adding seat belts detract from the value of the car, and are there special belts available somewhere for cars of this vintage that will fit the interior? ( I'm sure I don't want those plain black belts they sell at Pep Boys)

    Thanks for the help

I have a 65 and got some matching belts for the rear on ebay for 60 bucks. Installed with ½" bolts and big washers on each side of floor pan behind seats. As far as dteracting from value, I believe if this mod is done taSTEfully is not a problem Future owner can simply remove and install body plugs.Steve
