I JUST PURCHASED A 67 GS400 AND WANT TO RESTORE IT IM HAVING A HARD TIME FINDING PARTS, INFO OR ANY THING FOR IT , ARE THEY THAT RARE THAT THERES NO INFO OUT THERE AND ARE THEY THAT UNPOPULAR WITH BUICK FANS ......ARE THERE ANY GS 400 OWNERS OUT THERE TO CHAT WITH ... Around 14,000 GSs were made in 67 counting all models. The 70 and up GSs are more popular as they had the larger 455 and 455 Stage One engines. The GSs had the 400 engine from 67-69. The 400 is basicly the same engine as the 455 with a smaller bore, and many parts will interchange. The 455 had improvements in the oiling system over the 400, but the 400 can be retro fitted with these modifications. Lots of drive train parts are available for these cars, but there are no reproduction body panels. Let us know what you need, and I think we can point you in the right direction.
