Shock Absorber Fluid

Does anyone know where I can get shock absorber fluid for my '53 Special? Is there a readily avaliabe substitute?

I have puchased replacement fluid through The Buick Specialist in Kent Wash., but I would no longer bother. I would suggest your local motorcycle shop. I like the consistencey of the MC fluid more than the replacement fluid.
