If your not in too much of a hurry, why don't you use a POR paint. Their website is in the "website database" on this site.
if you find any let everyone know thanks and goodluck
I was checking out Bob's Automobilia, and they have most, if not all colors listed for the buicks up to the 60's. I haven't bought any yet to know how close it matches but it may be the correct colors since he only deals in older buick stuff. So you might want to check out bobsautomobilia.com and see what you think. Just thought I would pass that along.

Refer to my reply 12/08/02 re Engine paint colour. It seems this topic keeps coming up. There is also some info on the '57 engine colour under Buicks.net, paint codes. It refers to the engine colour as blue, but I believe it was more green than blue. I'd suggest '56 and '57 engine colours were the same.
check out www.classicbuicks.com, they should have the right shade of green for your '56. Look under the category of engines.

You can get the exact color from the Buick Specialty places. But Ford "ALpine Green" is pretty close.
