I just had my LeSabre blasted to bare metal. There are may pinholes in the trunk pan that were hidden by undercoating. The shop where I have the car suggests the following:
Coat the pan with POR-15
Fill the holes with 2 stage epoxy
Recoat the pan with POR-15
Apply resin and fiberglass matting and work to smooth finish
Recoat with POR-15
I would appreciate any opinions any one has on this procedure. Any other ideas are also welcome. Thanks in advance.

I've been using POR-15 a bit and it looks good. They offer a "Trunk repair kit". Their web site is listed in the buicks.net data base, it's at http://www.por15.com/
