Guys/gals I am looking into buying a 62 Skylark, it is not local to me and I don't know a lot about them. It is a project car, what I need to know is if they are full frame cars? Or are they unibody? I know the later 63 on up are frame cars, just don't know about the earlier ones. Thanks for the info in advance.

The 1961-63 compact Buicks are Y-body cars which are unitized body with integral body-frame construction. GM started assigning letters from the end of the alphabet going backwards for this type construction beginning with the Z-body Corvair.
