Thread: stuck engine

    i have a stuck 69 350.all the old timers i talk to say oh you can get it unstuck.this is a 69 lark that sat all complete underhood and tarp for 8 years air cleaner on and everything.but its stuck any ideas out there?i have been soaking the cylinders for 2 weeks with pb blaster spray lube.i heard its good stuff.appreciate any ideas.

    I would just fill it right to the top with diesel and just let it soak.

    I've seen this done on a 1970 GTO, It works wounders. But make sure you drain it all good, and you'll probally have to rebuild.

    the 350 is shot.been soaking with pb blaster for three weeks.bolted a peice of steel to the balancer and gave it a ****...nothin.hit it 3 times with a 3 pound hammer and busted the balancer off.i didnt even hit it that hard.oh well 455 is going in as soon as i find one.my chevy buddies say i should have a easy 14 sec. car with just a stock 455.
