    What is my engine?

    Hi all,
    Try to know the exact engine which is in my car, it's a buick engine but not genuine.
    Try to find it in "reference" et it seem no to be there, the car was selled in France
    here attached a picture of serial number

    If you use the Buick Engines by the Numbers and go to the page which includes 1955 here:
    https://www.teambuick.com/reference/...gine_53-58.php

    Your number (read it V 5627525) falls after the 1954 line:
    50 V-8 322 V273956-5


    and before the 1955 line
    50 V-8 322 V720080-5

    This makes it a 322 manufactured in 1954. It would be quite appropriate for an early 1955 car.
