    Wow thank you so much... So the car was a different color ..?? The car is like a cream and brown I know the interior was done over

    1939 Buick's were always 1 color. The firewall should also be the same as the exterior

    Thanks we'll the great part is that the interior was done over already and it does run...
    Some one has told me to look into converting the system from 6volt tons 12volt I don't know why

    Nor do I. If the car starts it must be OK. 6 volts has been on that car for the last 80 years.
    The cables from the battery need to be the correct size. Bigger than for 12 volt, but not that hard to get
