    Shift speed for st300?

    What speed driving around town does your st300 shift into second?
    60 mph on the freeway is the only time mine shifts.
    stays in 1st until that speed..
    is that right?

    I don't know anything about transmissions, but this will get you started.

    I would first check the vacuum line to the modulator. It could also be the detent solenoid.

    If you go here and look down to page 74-73 you will find the part of the trouble shooting section that applies to your problem.
