started her up after several years of rest. runs rough. puttin a timing light on #1 shows and intermittent miss... same for all the other cylinders. putting the pick up on the coil to distributor cap lead seems to also show an intermittent miss. i've changed the plugs, coil, condenser (probably didnt need to), points, and dist cap. new wires on the way. any suggestions?

it's aggravating, but it might be time to consider cleaning ALL of the electrical connections. you might also want to consider running discrete 12ga ground wires between Battery ground, Alternator ground the Distributor hold down bolt.
