    Bombshell Betty

In the reconstruction of Bombshell Betty 2.0 we want to streamline the rear wheel cut outs by adding a set of 1952 Buick Riviera Special rear fender skirts....to comply with class rules it has to be an original option...we can't just fabricate a cover. We would appreciate any help in locating a set. We will post reconstruction shots down the road for those interested in this fascinating car. The 320 CI Landspeed record it held for 5 years was broken last year by another Buick straight 8, at 174 mph on gas, and this year the same car bumped the fuel record to 181 mph. The competition is getting tougher, and the teams are coming up with some leading edge stuff in the 320 CI unblown class...

I bought a pair of 51 Olds Skirts that fit my 51 special. Not sure these would comply with your rules but they seem more readily available out there. They also are not quite as aerodynamic as the original Buick skirts but they are a direct fit.
