Park Brake Switch - Where is it?

Hi, on my 1979 Rivi the brake light in the dash doesn't come on when I engage the park brake pedal. The bulb in the dash is ok, it comes on for a second when I start the engine.

I crawled under the dashboard but can't find the switch at the park brake pedal to check it. Can anybody tell me where it is and what it looks like?

    Thank you!

    Michael

Here is a drawing from the shop manual showing the switch mounted on the parking brake control assembly. The wire color is tan with white stripe.
