Here are some more drawings from the '65 full-size car manual. Surprisingly there were no step-by-step disassembly instructions for the non-tilt column. The exploded parts view is for Wildcat-Electra 225 auto column-shift cars. There wasn't one for LeSabre.

Question...
If the ground is what activates the horn relay and the button on the wheel does that.. where does it get its ground?
I see a single wire going up the column in disgrams and its missing..
the buttons are connected to the springloaded contact on the brass ring of the cancalling cam.. but I am confused where those contacts are supposed to be supplying a ground from.
