    heads on 340 -66

Hi, i have rebuilt a Buick 340 Engine and i have some problems. To high comp. My head left, is marked B 1376330 J
How do i know if it is for a 300 Engine or a 340 Engine?

That is a head casting number common to both the 300 and 340. The difference in compression in these engines was in the CC of the piston crown and depth down the hole.
