    Question 1939 Buick valve adjustment

I am trying to set the valve adjustment for my 1939 Buick and have not been able to find the correct procedure. Anyone ever done this or have a shop manual would help a lot thanks. My engine is shaking like the valve are too tight so I want to get them set correctly.

Look at the section above entitled "From the Reference Section". Go down the list until you see "Buick Straight Eight Lifter Adjustment". Right click on it and you will find that which you seek.
