some protips for forum software:
1 - 'New Posts' will bring up a list of all the new posts to the entire board since the last time you visited, no matter where they are located
2 - occasionally there will be an internet glitch when you try to post, so BEFORE you hit the 'Submit Reply' button get in the habit of using "Control+a" and then "Control+c". then, if the post fails to submit, all you have to do is hit "Control+v" and everything will be pasted back into the edit window. this is ESPECIALLY important with long posts.
3 - i think there are some posting permissions you don't acquire until you have a high enough post count, i'm not entirely sure what Bob ( different than me ) has the board set for, but i thought that 10 was the lower bound. as you might guess, it's been a long damn time since that would have been an issue for me.

Were you able to follow the link to the walk-around? Thanks for the tips.. The next project on the list is to get the horn working.. Trying to troubleshoot that now. I get continuity through the horns themselves, so I don't think the problem is there. I don't get power to the connector when the horn on the steering wheel is pressed though. Do you happen to know what fuse the horn would go through?? It's not labelled on the fuse box. I suspect the steering wheel switch, but I don't have the tools to get access to that :'(
your generation of Skylark ran from 1964-67, so while we don't have your specific year for the Chassis Manual, the 1966 should still mostly apply.
