Perhaps you should post a picture, bulbs in those days mostly pushed in and turned 90 degrees.
I have a water temp gauge and bulb the bulb is broken off. is there somewhere to get this repaired? It is from my 53 special. Thanks

hello Bob
The bulb I am talking about is the one at the end of the capillary tube from the temp gauge. The bulb goes in the engine head. The bulb and the line are usually filled with Freon. thanks
I had my temp sender repaired by a man near Portland, Oregon. He did a good job and reasonable priced. I do not have my records in front of me but if you are interested I can get the information tomorrow.
