The part number no is 1386935 which is stamped on the outer face of the cone. It was used on all '67-70 Buicks except those with the L6 engine. Availability looks good for OEM and reproduction pieces.
I have a complete "pull out" 430 engine from a 68 electra 225....EXCEPT it is missing the power steering pulley. Would like to replace with an original pulley. Looking for dimension details, photos, casting number, part number ....and any other info. Thanks.

Thanks for the response. It sounds like you are describing a solid cone thin guage pulley. I've seen some similar on ebay claiming to be for 67-68 Buick, but different part numbers. I've also been told that some 430's had a cast iron "sprocket " design pulley with a cone shape and 5 9/16 dia x 5/8 thick at the v groove. So, I'm still not clear on what's the correct design, or whether there may have been more than one style used, which would not be uncommon for GM. Any further insight and comments will be appreciated. Thanks again.
From the Buick parts books:
'72 edition (covering all years up to then) issued 2/72 shows the above data where 1386985 is specified for all '67-70. Parts history catalog of 12/90 shows this number being discontinued. That indicates no supercedures occurred after this number.
'68 edition (covering only '68 cars) printed 12/67 shows the pulley to be a 1384927.
The Canadian Parts Catalogue (covering '64-70 A body cars) printed 7/70 shows 1384927 for '67-68. Too it shows 1384927 supercedes 1377638. Here 1386935 is given for '69-70 cars.
These publications show no distinction by engine size except to exclude the Chevy-built inline 6. No distinction was made by car series either.
Data from eBay, other forums, vendors etc indicates each of these has the part number stamped on the piece. The 1386935 has two holes in the cone for ?ventilation while the other two do not. All three are described as 5-3/8" diameter. All three appear to be pressed steel construction. Could not find anything but used examples for the 1377638 and 1384927.
Hope this sheds some more light on these items.

Thanks again Todd. Sounds like it could have been one of several pressed steel pulleys. I'm going to keep digging. One thought I have is to check my hollander interchange books to see if I can find what would have worked from other model cars..hope to check that this week sometime. Maybe someone put on a used pump with pulley at some point in the car's life, and that might explain how someone saw a cast "sprocket" pulley and assumed it was original. I only know of one 430 in my area and it's in a 68 riviera....I'll look at it too. I know GM used cast sprocket P/S pulleys because my 63 409 impala has one, and I've seen them on older school bus chevy engines.
