    correct alternator?

    Hello: i have a1961 Buick Lasabre hardtop. i installed a 62 401. but had to use 61 exhaust manifolds, now the generator will not fit ,so i have a1966? alternate steel brake to mount alternator. what is correct single post (no regulator) alternates that will fit this bracket Thanks Rick

    GM did not offer a single post alternator in '66. You might try Part number 80500, GM 63 amp 1 wire alternator.
