    1968 wildcat torque converter

Can anyone tell me what the converter stall speed is on a '68 wildcat, 430? Thanks

Depending on whom you ask, 1600-1800 RPM.

1400-1600 max for just about any converter of that era. If you increase engine power, or change rear gearing (lower numerically), or increase car weight, the converter will stall higher.
