    1962 401 into a 61 chassis

    Hello : HELP HELP HELP??? i just tried to install a 1962 Buick 401 into a 1961 Buick lasagne chassis PROBLEMS with oil pan hitting steering linkage, exhaust manifolds hit frame? can i change oilpan and pickup? and swap exhaust manifolds? Thanks Rick

    You can swap oil pans & exhaust manifolds. They will bolt right on. Your going to have to make your own pick-up tube as the oil pumps are of a slightly diff. design & mounting.
