    Straight 8 Pulleys?

    Greetings!
I plan to add a Vintage Air unit to my '50 Super. Although they make a "wide V belt" compressor pulley, I thought I'd consider converting the engine to a "normal" V belt design. I'm pretty sure I can come up with a water pump pulley, and of course the alternator is no problem. Anyone know if the crank pulley can be changed or if there's a good retrofit? In fact at this point I'm not even sure how that balancer/pulley assembly is put together. Anyone have any thoughts or experience here?

    Thanks!
    Tom

    Straight eight pulleys

Tom, you will need to buy a crank dampner/pulley. The pulley is bradded on. They are available.
