    Self Canceling Turn Signals

    In 1940 Buick enhanced the directional indicators by extending the signals to front lights and adding a self-canceling mechanism. Cost, $7.95.

    by "cost", you mean that was an option and $7.95 is what Buick was offering the option at?

    So I understand, pretty pricey for back then...
    Maybe someone has a build sheet that would confirm this
