I have a 1964 skylark the turn signals do not cancel did they offer that back then or do I have to change everything in the column to make it work or is it just broken help if so where can I buy the parts and what do I need it is not a tilt column

The cancel springs are probably broken. Available at just about any parts store under the HELP line.
