Repair parts for the problem have been available for years. Try NAPA
Hi everyone, can anyone help me to find a new or rebuilt carb for my 67 skylark 300ci engine.? It's a Rochester 2 bbl. carb. The large nut holding the inline fuel filter is stripped and dripping fuel. Does anyone sell new or rebuilt carbs? Thank you in advance. This site is truly great..!!

Thanks.. I should clarify the stripped threads' are in the top cover of the Rochester 2 bbl., not the large nut that holds' the filter in place. The cover is cast material and not able to re-thread. If I could even find just the top cover to one of these, I should be able to have a good carb. It runs' find otherwise.
Try these guys. They have been building and rebuilding carbs for over 60 yrs. They look after everything from OEM to race quality and service all over the world. Yes, they are in Canada...
