    First gen Riviera bodywork compatability

Hi everyone! New to this, and British, so be gentle with me please!!
I have a '65 Riviera which I imported a couple of years ago. It's pretty rough, but I have the opportunity to by a '63 Rivi, which doesn't run but the bodywork and interior (especially the dash) are in good shape.
The main problems are the two front wings and bumper and the bonnet.
I wanted to know how much of the '63 I can use to get the '65 up to scratch.
All the glass and the chrome trims are better on the '63 as well, are these compatible too!
    Thanks for any help offered.

nominally, they're the same generation. so you would hope they would be pretty much the same, although the 65 has the clamshell retractable headlights.

You can use the Buick Master Body Parts book to compare part numbers for these three years. It looks like there were many more updates done from '64 to '65 than would be expected.

There is a 1972 edition available to download at www.wildaboutcarsonline.com It should cover the '63-65 models nicely. The Master Chassis Parts book is on there as well as parts books for the other GM brands.
