Need source for 55 Buick Treadlevac Return Spring

I have a 55 Buick Special, I recently got my Treadle Vac Rebuilt and I am in the process of reinstalling it and getting it bled. The return spring that goes from the pedal rod to the frame was broken before I got the car. What is a good replacement for the spring? Or who sells a direct replacement?

The part number is 1163146 and fits 1954-55 Buicks with power brakes. No crossovers found to other makes. Searching by part number on the net didn't find anything either.

If the old spring is still available, a universal spring should work if length at rest, length fully extended, and deflection rate (in lb/inch) can be matched.
