Hi, need help to identify Buick sn 2545801. What type and year? Found this number from old bill of sale from my fathers old documents in year 1939.

It would depend on if that number is a frame serial number or an engine serial number. 1930 if it is an engine serial number and 1931 if it is a frame serial number. If the car had a straight 6 engine, that would be a 1930 and a straight 8 would be 1931.
